Meet The Team

Miss Katie is the Principle of Take the Stage

Katie trained as an actor and has a B.A. (Hons) in Acting and has worked in theatre, film and voice acting. As a professional she continues to embrace new skills, which she draws on to enhance her teaching. 

She has considerable experience teaching Acting, Musical Theatre and Singing to the required LAMDA syllabus and her students have a 99% pass rate at Distinction and Merit grades. Her students have auditioned for, and performed in, West End shows and T.V. Katie’s lessons are fun, empowering and challenging and she is committed to encouraging her students to take risks to reach their full potential.

Katie holds an enhanced DBS, Child Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid certification.

Miss Evie is our Music, Acting and Musical Theatre Teacher.

Evie has a lot of experience working with children from Nursery up to Secondary School in various capacities, whether it be teaching drama, phonics or working with children who have special needs. Orginially from Dorset, Evie graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Her theatre credits include “Peppa Pig” in Peppa Pig’s Big Splash/Surprise (UK & Ireland Tour/Australia Tour) the Presenter “Evie” in Peppa Pig My First Concert (UK Tour) and “Sam” in Teletubbies (Winter Wonderland),”Young Woman” in Contagion Cabaret (The Theatre, Chipping Norton), “Ellie” in Santa’s Dizzy Day (Harlow Playhouse) and Female Understudy for The Theatre Chipping Norton’s Pantomimes (Robinson Crusoe and Sleeping Beauty). She’s very excited to be part of Take The Stage!

Miss Georgie is our Public Speaking, Acting, Musical Theatre and Mime Teacher.

Georgie trained as an actor, graduating drama school with a First Class B.A (Hons) in Acting. Georgie has worked in film/TV, theatre and presenting.  
She has a wealth of teaching experience and has been teaching LAMDA for 4 years, covering all topics from Acting to Public Speaking. Georgie currently teaches LAMDA within a independent school in North London so is constantly developing her skills as a teacher. 
As well as teaching Georgie is currently very active in the acting industry. Georgina is also known for her work with ‘Disney’, as a presenter on their new show ‘Disney Life Loves’. She can be seen playing the lead role of ‘Faye’ in ‘Cupid’, and lead role ‘Charlie’ in ‘Don’t Speak’. Georgina’s debut feature film ‘The 12’ directed by James Whitehill can now be seen on Amazon Prime, it won ‘Best Film’ at 3 film festivals including ‘The Unrestricted View Film Festival’.

Fun fact about Georgina: She cycled from London to Amsterdam in just 4 days!
